A muse in fashion

Two weeks ago I was in that party (LittleBlackDress) and I met the most gorgeous guy I have ever seen. He is tall, with brown gentle round eyes, dark hair, a brilliant polite smile and a crazy sense of humor that makes him irresistible. We had so much to talk about that we didn't realise the party was over. He asked my number and we've talked a couple of times since that night. And when I was starting of thinking that maybe he is not interested in me, he asked me out! So, tonight's the night! Our very first date and I cannot be more nervous. Nervous about everything, but most of all about how to get dressed... You know that feeling right? When you wanna be beautiful and look cute and sexy the same time, but not provocative. When you need to wear something that's saying "I like you, but I'm really interested on knowing you better first". With the right clothes you can do that. So for that first date I chose that outfit. I have been through too many interviews lately. Two things I've learned: a. know what questions to expect and how to approach them, and b. know what to wear. Preparation is the key for both of them. I was never good enough in the first one, but after so many interviews I think I am starting to. As for the clothes it wasn't a problem to me. However I hate to dress up in a suit, so here is my usual (alternative) outfit for interviews. A simple jean, a cute t-shirt, ballerinas, my favorite scarf, leather jacket and a big bag where I can put all the documents I might need in the interview.


Prefer a light makeup, without excesses and do not forget always to smile! Good luck!!!

It was another birthday-party night and unfortunately I didn't have the time or the money to go shopping for that special occassion. I was about to give it up and stay home because, as all women do, I was argued that I had nothing to wear. When suddenly I remembered that I do have one piece which I can actually wear almost in every occassion by just adding different accessories on it! My little,lovely,black dress! Girls, you know we all have that piece in our wardrobes. So go for it. Find it, and get it out of the closet! Mine isn't something special, it was really cheap, but I do love it and it always makes me feel special and beautiful. So here is my "special" dress with an orange necklace to brighten it up and a pair of classic black pumps.
